I really wanted to give him a chance, I did! but after listening to today's game it's going to be hard to watch the road games that he announces this season. As almost every Sabres fan knows that RJ is taking 10-15 games road games off this season to save his voice so he can continue doing play-by-play down the road for the Sabres. But Sylvester :question:is probably the WORST! guy the Sabres could pick to pick to fill in for RJ. The Sabres said they want to please us the fans THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT CHOICE! THIS WAS THE CHEAP MOVE something that we don't see Mr. Pegula do. This was like a Gollisano move. there were other choices out there Dan Dunleavy, Gary Thorne, heck throw some money at an AHL play-by-play announcer or a college hockey play-by-play announcer.

Slyvester doesn't bother me.

Anyone will sound like crap next to RJ.

Hated Sylvester when he started doing his Play by Play, but to be completely honest with you, he's really not that bad. Definitely no RJ but give the guy a chance.

I thought he was OK, however, Paul Hamilton's "he shouldn't have done that", "quit being so cute", "nice goal, but I didn't like it" after every rush was a little annoying.
