Forgot about Moore. I remember a time when Bills fans were wanting him in Buffalo. It will be intriguing to see how things develop in Miami.

Ahh, bad news - I don't like to see any team's starting QB go down for the year. Cheapens the level of the league play...

Feel bad for Henne and wish him a speedy recovery. He's most likely done in Miami.

The way the schedule is looking, I'm not seeing too many wins for my Fins.

well you could do us a favor and beat the Jets twice and the Patriots.

That would help if the Bills are in the playoff hunt at the end of the year and probably keep you guys from getting Luck.

After seeing Moore play for the Panthers the last couple years I don't think their is a big drop off going to Moore over Henne. It's not like the bar was that high to begin with.

I agree in principle, I'm a fan of the game before I'm a fan of the team.

Having said that the loss of Henne doesn't dilute league play in any way, shape, or form...he's a replacement level player (apologies for the baseball reference) that'll be replaced by...another replacement level player.

It's a wash at worst, and at best an improvement.

Bill Parcells, the ESPN know-it-all and media darling, is responsible for producing two of the worst teams in the NFL today — the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs.

You guys are crushing for Luck...I can smell it. You do have a few things going against you though.

1.) KC, Jacksonville, and Seattle are all every bit as atrocious as their records indicate (the other teams with lousy records I think have a chance to win a few games, or don't need a QB)

2.) You might get the "new Vet QB bounce" and win a few games

3.) Your luck and decision making when it comes to drafting is worse than ours...a difficult task.

4.) Luck will decide to stay in school another year (this goes back to your bad luck in number 3)

Who the hell is Chad Henne?

/sarcasm

No drop off to Moore, and it's looking like a very 'Luck-y' next few seasons if they continue this QB play... Unless Moore pulls a Fitzpatrick... Unlikely.

Fins atm are making the Bills look like a world beater from the Owner on down.
About the only thing they do have going for them is their DC.

Henne might be out for the season, but it's important to note that it isn't his throwing arm that's injured. He might still be back next year. Fins problems aren't all down to him tbh, ownership has to take a lot of heat also.

No - he's gotten most all of the the practice snaps with their 1st team, for 4 regular season games and some in the preseason. There's something to be said for the recievers, rbs, the line being in sync with the signal caller.

Henne's no world beater for sure, but when you lose your starter regardless of how good/bad he may be, you suffer.

Toss Thigpen onto the field and see what ya get - his last happy farts were in 2008:

No, we're going to have to disagree.

For a week or two the replacement of a replacement level player may be at a disadvantage due to practice but that's about it. (and then there's always the possibility of the new guy bounce for a couple of games...the Scott Mitchell rule which will actually help the team MORE than Henne)

I dont see how ESPN can possibly justify having parcells tell us "how its done" while the Chiefs and Dophins struggle. You would think someone would have balls and challenge him for once.

But nope, everyone is afraid of the mean old overrated coach.

If they were serious about winning the "SUCK FOR LUCK" derby , they had a couple of guys in camp who are great at being losers.

Charlie Frye and Sorgi are still in the NFL? You learn new things every day I guess.

Still, Moore and Rosenfels are definately gonna get this team to suck for Luck.
Hell the Defense has done its fair share. Now I just have to sit and wait and drink myself into a coma on Sundays.

You would almost think Losman would have a chance, he was only able to have decent games against weaker teams (like them).

I can't believe I'm actually rooting now for the Dolphins to win a few. I wish upon them a 5-7 win season. Still bad, but not bad enough to get a top 5 pick. The type of mediocrity the Bills have been stuck in for a decade.

Therre are several terrible teams this year. Hopefully, one of them will beat out Miami in the Luck sweepstakes. Seattle, KC, Indianapolis, and Minnesota. I know Seattle and KC have won a game each, but they shouldn't win very many.

The issue with Whitlock's piece (as is typical of Whitlock) is that he ignored parts to make his story work.

For instance he blames Parcells for producing Pioli and Haley, but never credits him for producing BB?

Its a glaring error and its why Whitlock's integrity has gone down hill and why he had issues near the end of his time with the Star.

Yep - Henne didn't exactly distinguish himself. Still, there's something to be said about losing a player who went through the camps and the games to date.

A poster above mentioned Rosenfels. Might not be a bad option for 'em. There's been numerous QBs forever, that bounce around, get a gig, sit a year, get a gig, etc. Players like Kitna, Collins, many others that many posters could name. These guys don't have the great skills, but I think they have a very deep and quick understanding of what is going on after the snap. Very sharp cookies, IMO...
