    On Aaron Maybin

Last week he had a sack and forced fumble vs. the Ravens.

    So here's the question:

Does this make us look bad? Like we couldn't use him properly or coach him to use the right technique?

Does this make him look bad? Like he simply wasn't ever that focused or driven to succeed here, and now that he left he turned on the "jets".

    What say you?

Maybin got an incredibly ugly coverage sack. And likely won't get many more.

Maybin, as usual, was about 10 yards upfield being thoroughly handled, when Flacco held onto the ball forever and rolled out. As luck would have it, Maybin was able to run up behind him 5-6 seconds after the play started to get the sack/ff.

That type of play won't happen often.

You realize he was cut by the Jets before the season too. Even if he turned out 10 sacks this year it wouldn't make us look bad. Once we cut him and the Jets cut him no other team thought he was worth a crap either.

          So the answer is no.

are we this starved for topics ???

Seriously??? So you've decided that Maybin is now good because he finally made a play? You may want to see if he makes another play before worrying about how it makes the Bills look.

Flacco had all day to throw on that play...........he looked as if he couldn't decide if he wanted to scramble or wait for someone to get open. Maybin got a free sack only because Flacco took way too long to make a decision.

so in his 3rd year, he finally got past ralph wilson's sack total of 0. I'm happy without him. he was manhandled on his forced fumble play. especially on a bills defense than can't have people blow their gaps like that, he's a liability. we don't have the talent in our LB core to make up for that.

If Maybin ends up with a real NFL career I'm going to go right back to what I said, and you can look up the post, on draft day - just a few seconds after being drafted the guy was almost crying. He didn't want to be a Bill. He hated being here, didn't want to play here and just took the money and worked out so he stayed in some sort of shape until they cut him.

It made Flacco look bad. Even Ralph could have gotten that sack if Flacco held that ball that long.

i stake my bills fandom on the fact maybin won't be anything. the guy is lining up with the body of an over built CB. He is in no man's land to be rushing the QB and he's too slow to keep up with RB and slot receivers. He is a blitz specialist and most teams don't have the luxury to put a guy like that on their team if that guy can't also be on ST.

He's on the jets because the jets are struggling right now.

if i am wrong and Maybin becomes a star in this league, i will buy a tom Brady jersey.

Brian McKinnie sucks, and yet many of you including the OP were clamoring for his services before the start of the year.

                              Guy is terribad.
