Shoot I forgot about this game until just now. Make your prediction for todays game and I'll keep a running tally through out the year. I'll find the thread with the rules and post them later...Cut of is 1:00PM EST for your guess.

that wasn't the rule but I'll let this one go because I started the thread late. Next time it has to be by the top of the hour or bottom if it is a :30 game start.

Your first post was 5 HOURS after the game ENDED. Clump was only a couple minutes late. Case Closed.

You should strike the first game because the short warning gave very few people an opportunity to make a prediction.

Nope. EVERYBODY forgot about this contest until I started the thread yesterday plus I'm covered in Rule 5 and I quote

"5. Anybody can start a Prediction thread and I'll recognize it but it has to be within 24 hours of the start of the game."

Nope. EVERYBODY forgot about this contest until I started the thread yesterday plus I'm covered in Rule 5 and I quote

I think Rule 5 should be amended to include a minimum time also.

And...does this mean the following thread doesn't count?

How about changing to anytime during the prior day to a game, as long as it's started after the end of any game being played that day. Any threads started the actual day of a game would be null & void for the purposes of the contest?

What 1 hour before puck drops crap? I forgot to start the thread on the first game of the year. it was 1 hour for everybody to make a guess. You could have started the thread earlier than that.

'Everybody' doesn't spend 24/7 on the intraweb waiting for a game day thread.

I'm just trying to make a suggestion that makes the contest fair for everybody.

C'mon, just give clump an asterisk for the rest of this season. It could be another unwritten rule, like 'Lecter's always in last place regardless of how many points he gets'.

Awwww, c'mon. Quit being a stick-in-the-ass ***** and just roll with it.

It isn't Lecter's fault, necessarily, that he's a douche and should have a reserved spot in the basement either.
