A nice start..... our D is going to make thing very tough for opposing teams.
Gonna be nice spending the majority of the time in the opponents zone unlike much of last year

He's off to a good start but it takes more than one game to make up for the last couple of seasons.

His last couple of seasons were not that bad.
There's a huge difference between the last couple of seasons being "not that bad" and Vanek being a true goal scorer.
If this team is going to be successful, then he has to live up to his salary and that means being better than "not that bad."
