Moats did good, got to Vick a few times as he was throwing. Sheppard looked alright too.

Batten, on the other hand, got that stupid roughing the passer penalty that gave Philly a first down and ultimately their first touchdown. I don't think he stepped on the field after that play.

Does Kirk Morrison still play for the Bills?

I think Sheppard was the one who was too slow to react on the contain where Vick busted that big run, but he looked alright otherwise.

He fell down on that play.

Sheppard's hit on Vick gave us a pick 6, so he gets a few oh snaps.

Each made mistakes that nearly cost the Bills.

Batten needs to keep his head in the game.

You guys are right. Why the **** don't we have an LB that can catch Michael Vick from behind on this roster? Too many mistakes, and with 10 or so games between them combined...when will just call this experiment off?

The question about Morrison is a good one though?

No one's expecting him to catch Vick from behind, but it's also his responsibility to keep Vick in front of him. It shouldn't come down to chasing Vick down because that would mean he's already failed at his job of containment.

Yeah, Sheppard fell down on that big Vick run, but I really liked what I saw from him today. He looked big, fast, and intense. He didn't make a ton of plays, but I really liked the way he played. I think he's going to be a solid player for us. I'm excited to see more of him.

It was nice to see Moats active and getting some pressure too.

All 3 have bright futures on this team.
Batten made the big mistake and he will bounce back.

Ya, the Batten hit wasn't egregious either. Just a young guy being aggressive. He certainly didn't pull a douche move like Wilfork.

It's just being harped on because it led directly to a TD. I say who cares, we WON. The guys young and is going to make mistakes, but I think he has a chance to become pretty good so our forgiveness of his early mistakes will pay off later.
