The Fox one is exactly why power rankings suck.

Boston was 1-2 when he made this and he put them ahead of the 2-0 Red Wings. I know Boston won the Cup and the losing record won't last, but it's still ridiculous to put a 1-2-0 team ahead of a 2-0-0 team.

These are all very subjective & can vary widely, so I wouldn't have a cow over it this early in the year. The Sabres look to monsters of the NHL & I could less about any other team unless it benefits Buffalo.

Usually I don't even bother to read them, specifically because they're so subjective. I just clicked on that one because I was curious to see why they had us as #1.

Since people bother to do them, I'm glad we're at the top rather than the bottom, but I really don't attach any credibility to any of them.

well, that's a little more challenging, but I would certainly put them behind the Wings at this point.

BTW Bruins lost again last night.

They're 1-3-0 on the season

Again, with 78 games left, anything could happen, but based on how they're playing right now, it's not very logical to rank them above some of the teams with better records.

Wow, 1-3-1. It's a little early to dig their grave but it is getting close to Halloween, lOL.

Power ranking in the NHL are even less useful than the NFL.
