We lead the league in turnover differential, allowed the fewest sacks, and one of the fewest penalized teams after 5 wks.

So far:

NFL-best +11 turnover differential

Allowed only four sacks, fewest in the NFL.

Averaging 138.2 yards rushing per game, 4th in NFL.

Tied for 24th in fewest penalties (25, half as many as Oakland's NFL-most 50) and 7th in fewest yards penalized (199) ...Opponents have been penalized 25 times for 242 yards.

Average time of possession (31:46) ranks 8th in the NFL. Last year we finished 28th in the league for ave. time of poss.

1 of those sacks is from brad smith getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the wildcat formation.

Fred Jackson leads the league in yards from scrimmage with 712. That puts him on pace for a total of 2,278 yards for the season.

To me the top 3 are Fred Jackson's beastitude, Fitzmagic, and the defensive takeaways that have gotten us to 4-1. If those 3 keep up we'll be plying more than 16 games.
