NILES, Ill. - While work continues on their new football playground along Chicago's lakefront, the Bears helped build an actual playground Thursday at the Leaning Tower Family YMCA in Niles.
Linebackers Bryan Knight and Bobbie Howard and more than a dozen team employees were part of a force of over 200 volunteers that erected slides, monkey bars and other equipment.
The effort was coordinated by Home Depot and Kaboom, a national non-profit organization that helps build playgrounds throughout the country....
