His achilles got strained from getting held so much.

He doesn't need his achilles to make phone calls when he recruits players anyways.

I have seen reports of hammy and achilles so I am not sure what the exact injury is.

At this point I wouldn't mind him sitting out and getting a 2 week rest. Moats and Batten should be able to fill in fine.

Merriman did say that he won't be going on IR and doesn't seem to concerned. So who knows I guess give him the week off.

No Kelsay, Merriman, and a hobbled Kyle Williams who may or may not play should be interesting week for the defense.

Will be nice to get McGee back and that bye week can't come fast enough.

I believe Troup is back this week. Moats and Batten get significant playing time.

Both teams have some injuries so it should balance out.

Said he didn't think it was long term. And injury may have come at best time really with the bye coming up. Again he is not a doctor so who knows.

Could you imagine if Moats and Sheppard develop into solid linebackers for us? They're so young that we could potentially solidify the D for years.

Need some other players but it would be nice to see the grow into starting roles.
