High Time for Player Agents

Just got off the phone with my buddy working for a local agency. He's been on the road since Monday. The big thing? One-on-one in person to help some clients to educate and assist in HGH tests.

Now the teams are doing most of this for their players. The agency form a legal perspective, stays away from advising to players what to take and what not to take. But most of them try their hands to protect their clients, especially a few that they perceive to be careless (or less sophisticated as he put it).

It'll interesting to see if there is a spike in terms of substance abuse announcements throughout the league next week and beyond.

The chances of HGH testing beginning next week are extremely slim. The NFLPA will not agree to it unless testing procedures are proven to be safe and reliable. HGH testing can not begin without NFLPA approval, or it becomes a violation of rights every time a test is conducted. That is why testing is unlikely by next week. JMO
