Giants LE Justin Tuck (neck, groin) has been ruled out for Week 6.

The G-Men have been gashed by the run without Tuck in the lineup, even if the front four has continued to bring a ton of pressure. Fred Jackson is a very strong Week 6 fantasy play. Tuck will try to use the Week 7 bye to heal up.


Brandon Jacobs (knee) has been ruled out for Week 6 against Buffalo.

Jacobs will miss a second straight game with an incredibly swollen knee. Giants S Antrel Rolle described it as "volleyball" sized earlier in the week. Jacobs will try to use the Week 7 bye to manage the swelling and get back on the practice field before Week 8. Ahmad Bradshaw may flirt with 30 touches against the Bills' weak run defense, which may be minus NT Kyle Williams (ankle).

Giants are also forced to bench Jimmy Kennedy this week for a substance abuse violation. While he's not a starter, the Giants suddenly look very depleted at depth on the DL.

Giants CB Prince Amukamara (foot) said he's on schedule to return to practice after the team's Week 7 bye.

Amukamara participated in a few drills Wednesday for the first time since he broke his foot on August 6. He's still feeling soreness after workouts, but that's natural. The No. 19 overall pick should be ready to contribute by Week 8.

Hmm that changed from the original reports...good for him, still think he was better than Dennard. Wish him the best.
