I think Fitzpatrick has been injured for 3 weeks

He hurt his throwing hand ring finger in the first quarter of the bengals game. It was taped to his middle finger then and was still bandaged today. During the same period, his throws have been very poor. I appreciate him wanting to play, but he may be hurting this team. If nothing else I'd like to know if this is contributing to his poor passes.

ugh. even if this is true, he hasn't played THAT bad. I'd rather have Fitz out there with 4 fingers than thigpen. He had 2 terrible throws today. he was due for an INT game.

I don't want my quarterback to be "just fine" I want a killer who doesn't throw duck duck goose passes every game. I want a consistent passer.

That's not saying a lot. He can't make that INT man. That should have been a TD on even a decent pass. Anything over 20 yards he has a big problem underthrowing guys. If that does not change he's not the long term answer.

Fitz is a backup that people love so much because he's a good story.

I'm just really glad this franchise didn't fall for his mirage, and extended him like they did with Dick.

This is the difference between a Payton & a Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick threw a pic where Payton would have thrown a TD. That's the difference between winning and losing just ask the Colts!
