Take your dress off Schwartz!! I did love Harbaugh's explanation about being use to shaking the hands of linemen, pretty much calling Schwartz a sissy.

It was kind of funny. I can see why Schwartz would be upset, but he should've just walked away and brushed it off. It's not like Harbaugh shoved him over or anything. -

That was a riot... he chased him like 40 yards,.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I thought it was like Schwartz came up to him with a WTF was that, and Harbaugh or somebody said something to him.
I always thought Harbaugh was a dick but this incident made Schwartz look like a baby.Comment

I thought the story was that Kelly, when he first retired and started working at ESPN was interviewing Harbaugh and said something about him milking injuries. Harbaugh took offense and punched Kelly and in the process broke his hand. But I could be wrong.Originally posted by HistorianComment
