Bills NT Williams to sit a few more games before IR decision

Buffalo Bills nose tackle Kyle Williams' injured foot will get at least a few more games of rest before a final determination will be made on his status for the rest of the season, according to a league source.

The local news yesterday insinuated that he may indeed be done for the year, with his foot not getting any better and it may need to be looked at further for surgery.

Speculation naturally.. but I wouldn't be surprised.

Well if we are going to lose a starting WR , LB, and DT, you can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

This is a killer for the defense. Our best player and really the only impact player is done.
Now that the offense is producing and is playoff calibre, it might be time to look at a couple of free agents on defense to give us the playoff push. And yes, I'm talking about next year.
The Jets are getting things together and are going to finish second in the division. The Bills will not make the playoffs this year.....just a prediction, but it looks likely to me.

This is a killer for the defense. Our best player and really the only impact player is done.

Troup has made a huge impact and has been getting better game by game. In terms of his play this YEAR Kyle doesn't sniff George, Barnett, and Dareus jock. Byrd and Kelsay have also been better than him. I love Kyle but he's clearly not himself, the defense wont get dramatically worse.

I don't think Troup's played that well at all in his young career. Certainly don't see him really getting "better and better." Having said that, he has been bothered by injuries so maybe if he's healthy Toupe will be a good player for us but unfortunately he's been hampered by injuries in his short career. He absolutely NEEDS to get healthy and he absolutely NEEDS to step up in KW's absence.

Hopefully Heard and Troupe can at least be solid at the nose and Dareus can step up and become a more disruptive force.

Sadly, Williams has done little of impact this season.

That BUF went head first into a 3 -4 with few of the parts in place still has me scratching my head.
