Friday afternoon, about three months earlier than scheduled, Falcons running back Warrick Dunn and Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks were already squaring off.
Brooks, the NFL's reigning defensive player of the year, had come to town with his Brooks Bunch, a group of youths from inner-city Tampa whom he is leading on an 11-day, expenses-paid tour of New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Tallahassee.
Friday, the Bunch hooped it up against a team from the Warren/Holyfield Boys & Girls Club near Grant Park, coached by Dunn, Brooks' former Bucs teammate. An enemy in Atlanta, Brooks was warned about the Falcons by a boy who came up to Brooks' waist...
