Agreed. I'll be there wearing white. We can't do this half assed. Doesn't have to be bills gear, just wear white.

The players asked for it, the fans should deliver. They're 5-2. Show them some love!

Now woulda been the time to buy a billboard, not 2 years ago... lol

How many fans read forums/twitter.... ? Out of those few, how many of them are actually going to the game? For this to work, it has to be promoted on ALL RADIO shows, canada, buffalo and rochester, even music stations, and also in newspapers.

I heard Bills will give out white towels which is cool too.

I'll bet damn near 80-90% of the people going to the game will have heard about it from people who DO frequent Twitter, message boards, etc.

Say 5 people are going to the game together. I'll bet at least 2 of them have seen it on Twitter, heard it on the radio, etc. They'll in turn tell the other 3 people in their group.

Word of mouth. You don't actually need to see or hear it directly from the sources.

I wonder if it's just a petty mind game for Sanchez....dude's mistake prone as it is....having a bowl of 70k people wearing bright white in bright sunlight might be enough to throw him off just enough

If the players asked for it then the team brass should put a white shirt on every seat in the house.

I'll be wearing white at home.

It's a pretty awesome sight when PSU does it with 100K+ fans. I think the Ralph could have a similar effect, it gets really rocking there.

I'm in.

They team could at least pass out a white T at the gate. if the fans aren't prepared.

The Ralph going to the white out is a great move.

Love the idea of Towels, I hope all Bills fans to do this. I know my brother and buddies will, trying to convince my wife. She doesn't want to put a T-shirt over a jacket but I know onces she sees all the people she will.

Someone should tweet or email Chris Brown and see if he knows anything about Tshirts or anything at the gate or pom poms or whatever. They did it for the Dallas Monday night game about 5 years back

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. If they really want this to work well they should have boxes of XL white tees at the gates to pass out that everyone can just wear over their jackets or whatever.

the team should have ponied up for the whole 70k+ at that kind of bulk rate it couldnt have cost "that" much more, possibly less than $1000

Penn State does the white pom-poms thing in their student section. Actually looks pretty cool when done together.

Hopefully people will still wear white.

Shame on whoever does the texts... This tweeting BS with the # is annoying, but how the heck do you do this #whiteoutatheralph crap? Was he drunk? Is it "white out a the ralph" or "White out at he ralph?" I call it a jinx and see it as a degradation to the team.

I will be wearing my Chris White jersey (it's blue) but will be wearing all white otherwise. If they start losing, I will toss on my "Crush the Pats" shirt that is all white. After Labor Day? Puhleeezzzzz!!! :limp:

Pom poms? :limp:
The entire thing is gay. White outs and such are for loser fan bases like the Miami Heat who need extras b/c they don't find the game exciting enough on its own.

I like the white jerseys at home just for a change of pace, but all this promotional stuff is dumb.

I hate the pom-poms too; every time I see all the goober Steelers fans with there "terrible" towels, I hope an asteroid hits the stadium.

a white out with 20k people not doing it? do the bills get paid to not think things through?

1. they are messing with a successful team. it's not hockey, but people have their superstitions.
2. they are introducing someone else's tradition mid season. i love that the bills games are a smattering of hunting jackets and starter jackets from 1994.
3. not getting enough pom poms for everyone sucks. and a towel would have been cooler because it's useful and i'm sure someone would pony up advertising money for the towel whereas no one would put any money on the handle of a throw away item.

That being said, i'm going to sym saturday and buying a pack of gigantic white undershirts for over our coats. my dad, wife and me.
