Here we go boys, it's Jets week and that means only one thing, revenge. Well I hope the Bills feel some sort animosity towards their division rival who spanked then 3 of the last 4 meetings, so here is a short preview & the keys to the game.
Preview
This is the worst type of matchup for the Bills: playing a top Defense and an okay Offense (see bangles game). It's strength vs strength & weakness vs weakness, the problem for the Bills is that defense wins championships and they don't have any. So, assuming Jets play well on Defense they will be able to stop our offense more often than not, enough anyways to give their inept offense a chance to score vs our porous defense.
Anyways, games are won and lost on the grid iron and here are the Bills Keys for Victory:
1) time is everything: Bills must exploit the poor Jets pass rush. I don't care how great your Defense is, if you give Fitz enough time he will exploit it! Give Fitz time & Bills will move the Ball
2) shorten the field: confuse Sanchez into making bad divisions that lead to turnovers and get field position advantage.
3) play with a strong sense of urgency: must convert 3rd downs more consistently! We were great the first few games of the season, but have dropped off in the past few weeks. This needs to change if we hope to win games like this!
