Jets are moving ball on us no problem! Were getting dominated! They are even 2&3rd & long. WR are wide open, I don't see how we hold them! They are getting, sacked, penalties, etc... & still they are converting. Not good.

So far their offense is playing better than ours!

And yet, zero points so far because of the INT. This game will turn on turnovers.

Everybody but Washington makes our D look bad.

Another one. I'd say the D is making Sanchez look bad, not that much effort is needed there.

I know, but the jets o is average at best. Hoping for more of a fight. Lucky to be down by 3

No, the Jets are lucky to have 3 because they got a mulligan on the INT

Their defense certainly isn't doing our offense any favors either.

Jets defense is making our offense look bad particularly Fitz. This is a gross understatement.

Yeah, only three points so far. How terrible.

Yardage doesn't count for points, folks. Touchdowns do.

Yardage is a better indicator of how easy/hard it is to move the ball on you.

The easier it's to move the ball = more scoring opportunities for opponent

Turnovers are the best indicator of who wins the game.

When the NFL changes the rules to count yards for points, call me. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

Eventually opponent will score, can't get lucky forever!
Now it's 13-0

Of course it matters. If you prevent team from moving ball like jets are doing to bills, they will have no opportunities to score, & points will be less.

I don't know if your an educated man or woman, but there is a direct statistical correlation between points & yards.

So one is indicative of the other
Point just show winners & losers
Yards give you a better idea of how well a team is playing
In the end the two merge, the good teams win both in points & yardage
On average bad teams lose both points & yards

3 straight TD drives
Its bending & braking

Winning and losing IS all that matters. Period. Nobody wins a Super Bowl just looking good. Heck, Gailey's spread offense looked good in Kansas City, but where did it get them? Nowhere.

Never ever said anything about 'looking good'.

The difference between good & bad teams is that good teams are better at winning individual battles, moving the ball, and outscoring their opponent.

Good teams & great teams excel at outscoring & out gaining their opponents.

Can you name any exceptions that have won a SB?

Are there any teams that won a SB but were consistently out gained both on offense & defense? Can you name even one such team?

If yardage was an abstract irrelevant stat, you would be able to name many.

Here we are now, down 20-3 & can't get off the field...
