View Full Version : What the Bills offense needs

Bills need to start calling and hitting more intermediate 15-20yrd passes & going deep 2-3 times per game. They do well with the short passes & screens & running game.

Get more vertical! Keep a rb in the back field for blocking or as safety valve & throw it down the field.

In off season get speed WR & o line help.

How would you improve our o?

It doesn't need anything. It's very good. It just got beaten today. That happens sometimes.

Guys chill the heck out, we are not going to win them all. Unfortunately the Jets and refs beat us today. We have a chance to redeem ourselves in 2 weeks and we will.

A lot of people think better refs and the Bills are 7-1.

As I said in thread about the Fitz deal. I think a lot of people will change their tunes about Fitzy by week 17. The Bills need a fast receiver like the guy they traded away.

A big tall WR who can separate, aka AJ Green.

Yeah so does every team in the league.

Yeah so does every team in the league.

But some teams actually have that big downfield threat.

Just saying that it should be a focus in the offseason/draft, especially with Easley's career in question.

we need 4 new starters in our defensive front 7 before i'd even look at another WR.

Too bad no one on this team can go vertical except for Stevie. Wasn't it few weeks ago that no one here wanted to trade for Lloyd or Wayne because Jones and Roosevelt were good enough? Haha

We just need to start running a better route tree and a QB that can work that.
10-15 yard routes would be a nice start. The jets were eating us alive with those.

Maybe they are showing you what they are and what they are not. I find it amusing how easy it can be to overlook the obvious and later blame hindsight.

we need a big physical talented guy, dez, aj green, nicks, any one of these types of prototypes would add so so much to our O.

1998 eric moulds would have us putting up points all over the place.

Yeah, Lloyd & Wayne have really helped the Rams & Colts win games. LOL. Meanwhile, the Broncos are 3-1 since trading Lloyd.

Wow you are still trying to convince yourself that Donald Jones is a better option than Lloyd or Wayne. I guess whatever helps you sleep at night.

By the way kid that one year wonder Lloyd has more yards than our #1 receiver so how would he of have not helped us according to you is beyond me. All we had to do was give up a 6th but I guess you and Nix were depending on the 6th round pick to be the next Stevie Johnson. And Wayne has Curtis Painter throwing him the ball but you are probably too stupid to realize that since you probably only watch Bills games.

Donald Jones blows. He has a worse case of the drops than Josh Reed did when he was young.
