Franchise tag under new CBA

According to the new CBA, apparently the franchise tag will be lower numbers now. It will be the average of the top 5 salaries from the last 5 years rather than the last year.

yeah this is another great move in the CBA..

I just wish that would translate in prices coming down for the fans

The tage was always the average of the top 5 cap hits not just salary. Maybe it's not only salary

All the more reason to tag Stevie. He's easily our 2nd best player on O and clearly don't have anyone that could replace him.
