I think we have a pretty good run blocking line when everyone's healthy, but our pass blocking statistics should be taken with almost a grain of salt... Those have more to do with Fitz's pocket presence and the scheme calling for him to get the ball out of his hands ASAP.

I think there are three factors that go into it: the pocket awareness of Fitz, Freddy and the obvious o-line play.

hairston, levitre, wood, urbik, and pears are going to be great! i knew we would be awesome up front. hey, i know we lost a big game vs the jets but we are still tied for first. we can rebound big time with a win this week.

Goes for almost every QB.

Good pass blocking OL's are only by scheme or QB IMO.

Might have something to do with Gailey running pass sets where the ball is passed within 1 second. We don't ever run long routes where a true great pass o line is showcased

Yeah, and our secondary is one of the best in the league, because the stats say so.

Not.

Sure.... good quarterbacks do make O-lines look better.

I just think we need to give these coaches some credit fo this one, too.

This brings up something that needs to be addressed. Three of the starters (Bell, Pears, Urbik) are UFA's after this season and the other two (Wood, Levitre) are UFA's, after next season.

I really hope they sign more than just Fitzpatrick to an extension.

Chandler is another UFA...
