All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Dallas has a superb pass rush and the ability to hit the deep pass. We can't do either one, and the results were pretty dramatic.
Next year's draft should be built around getting a pass rushing DE or OLB, or both, and an elite, number 1 wide receiver. I think Stevie is more of a 2, and Donald Jones is a good special teamer.
Oh, and a QB who can throw the long ball to the new speed receiver would help, too.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Re: Dallas Has The Two Biggest Things That We Lack
If we have a healthy Kyle Williams next to Dareus, I think our pass rush will improve. Throw in an explosive DE or LB who has a nack for finding the QB and we could have a very nice front 7.
No doubt about it though, we need a received who is a genuine deep threat, but mroe importantly, we need a QB who can throw the ball to him when he is open.

Is this where we use hindsight and say we could have drafted Drez Bryant instead of CJ Spiller? Of course than again some of us wouldn't call it hindsight.

I agree that if chosing between Spiller, Bryant, Clausen or Davis that would take one of the top 2. Spiller would make the most immediate impact but think Bryant might be the best short term/long term value pick.

Health and talent
Dallas had plenty of its own injuries to deal with - Austin, Jenkins and Lee for example - so that is not a legitimate excuse for the Bills poor performance yesterday.

and depth. Robinson, Murray and the backup CB (forgot his name) all did pretty well filling in for injured players.

The necessity for health goes down when you have a higher level of talent and overall depth.
