The massive two-year Lambeau Field renovation project is 95 percent done and on schedule to meet its planned substantial completion date of July 31. Most of the unfinished work is concentrated in the Hall of Fame and the upper-deck seating areas.
"Substantial completion really is the architect certifying that the building has been built to the specifications that they designed," said Stuart Zadra, project manager. "I haven't calculated percentage complete on a dollar basis, but I would say it's somewhere around 95 percent complete right now."
According to Zadra, spending on the project is down to about $5.5 to $6 million per month right now compared to $20 million per month last year because most of the construction is completed.
