All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Outside of OJ, the Bills continue to waste 1st round picks on RBs who last a few years, have maybe one good year & are gone. You'd think after 45 years of the common draft they would just look at the results & know better. Spiller is just the latest in a long line of 1st round RB failures by the Bills:
2010 Spiller
2007 Lynch
2003 McGahee
1997 A. Smith (big gap because we hit on Thurman outside the 1st round)
1986 Harmon
1984 Bell
1981 Moore
1978 Miller
1969 Simpson-the last and only 1st round RB who was the answer.
BUF has been egregious - a useful Travis Henry - then drafted (injured) McGahee. A useful McGahee, then drafted Marshawn Lynch. A useful Lynch, then drafted Spiller.
Madness.

If it wasn't for Freddie being such a beast, Spiller would be featured and would probably do pretty well. His problem thus far has been not getting the ball.
...but not the elite running backs that would warrant them being picked up in the first round.
And more fundamentally, it is worth noting how relatively easy it is to find good running backs outside of the first round. Only 2 of the top 10 rushers this season - lead by undrafted Fred Jackson (not unlike undrafted Arian Foster leading the league in rushing last season) - were picked in the first round.
I talked to my brother in law about why C. J Spiller is not good that Bills pick 1st round Pick #9. He said that C.J spiller is not big and he is little light WT. It that true??
I believe if you look at a list of the best RBs in history, most of them are first round picks.
It's not where you pick, it's who you pick.
Is Adrian Peterson a bust?
Darren McFadden?
It's also what you do with the RB - or what they are doing, as both Lynch and McGahee pretty much ran themselves out of town.
With the possible exception in the future of Spiller, it seems to me that the identification of talent at RB, hasn't been an issue. Developing it and hanging on to it, has been.

Yeah, I'm sure people ran out & bought tickets just to see Henry, McGahee & Lynch. You can't be serious.
it's so true. The Bills should lay off the RB's and stick with picking more tried and true positions like OT (Williams), S (Whitner). DE/LB Maybin, Flowers, QB (Losman), DT (McCargo). When will we learn??
