Wide receiver Marcus Easley was in the Bills’ facility on Thursday but didn’t comment on his current health condition, what led the team to place him on season-ending injured reserve or if his condition is career threatening.
The Bills placed the former UConn wideout on IR in September because of a heart ailment, according to a source. When asked if he would be able to continue his NFL career, Easley said he wanted to keep matters private and remain optimistic. He was also placed on injured reserve last season after suffering a knee injury during training camp.
“As far as I’m concerned I’m still on the team and I’m welcomed to attend meetings and work out if I’d like to,’’ Easley said.
