technically we have an out in fitz contract in the spring. he has a 5.5 million dollar option we can deny and void his deal. don't know if that helps? our problem starts with the QB i have been saying all season even during the win streak to start the season that fitz is far to inaccurate with his throws, it has no become a problem that will likely keep us out of the playoffs. i understand receivers are supposed to catch the balls that they can touch with there hands but seriously every ball they have to jump for or dive for or extend their bodies into an unnatural position to get. our problem begins with the QB. pressure is a part of the NFL if you cant take the heat than hold a clip board and that may be where fitz is best used. he is a very smart player so maybe he is best used like another ivy league qb (jason garrett). as a backup/teacher. this is about the best news i can give you. they can get out of this contract.

Roosevelt is the best receiver on this roster after steve johnson. he is twice the receiver nelson is he just doesnt have the size. and if enough interested fans watched his snaps from the line of scrimmage and all his catches it is not even an argument.

he received a 10 million dollar signing bonus. i am sure it is a deferred payment and was not paid in one 10 million dollar check. do you cut your losses or do you give him another 5.5 million if he keeps this up? and mind you they are paying thigpen over 3 million a year. the answer is you cut your losses and draft a qb to compete with thigpen or you bring fitz back for one more season with a draft qb (because honestly fitz contract is a 6, 1 year deals.) they can get out of it after every season and especially after year 3.

I know football sucks right now but. If you want to feel better just put things into perspective. Football is football, thats all it is. It only effects you as much as you let it. Be thankful that one of your biggest worries in life is how a sports team does. I agree it sucks and I feel the pain of all of you but its only football.
