This season mirrors the 2008 season...strong start, then we extend a so called "face" to our franchise and we hit the wall and end the season 7-9... as Berman would say "No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills"....sad day

Re: 2008 all over again...
I agree with the previous post, it's actually quite a bit worse than '08. Seeing as how we've all already been through that atrocity with Jauron & it seemed as if there was no possible way that we would have to endure something like that again.
I mean, SERIOUSLY. How much are we supposed to take?
Is this some sort of cosmic joke or something?
How is it possible for The Bills to have begun this season SO damned well, with a series of high scoring victories over some good, talented teams & now? They've been TOTALLY dominated & even embarassed three weeks in a row. With both sides of the ball having been made fools of...
It's downright horrific.

Re: 2008 all over again...
It seems to me that at the beginning of the season, because of the lockout and the lack of off-season mini-camps, that the offenses in the league had an early advantage during the first month. Since then, the defenses have caught up and more - especially with the Bills who are now not only suffering key injuries (like every team does), but also are suffering from poor game-planning and play-calling by the coaches. Would someone please fire George Edwards and light a fire under Gailey. We need a coach like Cowher or Ditka (or even Jim Harbaugh) who would NEVER tolerate such a disgraceful performance as today without cracking some heads or at least sticking a chin in someone's face and reaming them out. Of course, we'll never have such a coach as long as Cheap Ralphie owns the team.

I don't mind Gailey. I don't think 2008 was better. This feels about the same.Last edited by Oaf; 11-20-2011, 06:16 PM.

Been there, done that...
Nothing surprises me anymore with this team, and it has gotten so bad, that I don't even get mad when we lose.
