That's a pretty bold move.... Pretty sure someone will claim him off waivers...

With the emergence of Tim Tebow, Denver felt it wouldn't play Orton for the remainder of the season. Thus it decided to waive him now to see if another team would claim the $2.5 million remaining on his contract.

How funny would it be if the Bears pick him up now that Cutler is out for the year.

Denver and Miami were at a stalemate in getting him to play for the Dolphins before the season started. And just over halfway through the season he gets waived. Jeez.

STUPID Donkeys. They could have gotten a decent draft pick from Miami for him before the season started, now they have to hope some team is desperate enough to sign him to eat the rest of his contract.

Had the Broncos played Tebow from day 1, they would likely be in 1st place now in the West.

At 7-3, they're pretty far down the line, as far as waivers is concerned...

If I had to venture a guess, I'd pick Kansas City to take a chance on him.

I was so sure this was a "_______ was waived/released/asked for a trade, should we make an offer/claim?"

KC might need him.

Jets should make a claim... Indy could be a possibility.

Where do you guys see him going?

I don't know, nor care where he goes, but I do know he's better than Fitz.

We already have him. His name is Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I guess you did not watch the Broncos first 5 games. Orton looked worse than Fitz did the last 3.

its been reported the Bears will put in a claim...... they are 30th in the line though... Indy could, but i dont think they will, also KC with Cassel still being hurt, and in the same division

If they can waive Orton, who is better than Fitz, we surely can waive Fitz.

Indy won't pick him up. They'll actually win some games if they have Orton and will lose out on Luck.

Orton is definitely better than Pickspatrick

Sure he is, that is the reason the Broncos won ONE game with him at QB this year.

Yeah, it was called the offensive line was playing worse than ours is now with all the injuries.

Either way, He is most certainly better than Pigpen.

Yet Tebow is 4-1 behind the same line & without Lloyd.

Check their 3rd down numbers. Awful just like ours. They are winning because he is so mobile and that is the only reason they are winning. Oh yeah, and their defense isn't complete trash so they get the ball once in awhile.

Well, Orton will most likely end up on KC or Chicago. We will see how he does. If he gets 10 minutes to throw the ball, he may complete a few passes.

If Orton was on the Bills he would look just as bad as he did in Denver. Fitz makes the Bills OL look better than it is with his mobility & quick release. Orton has neither of those.
