Good for Freddy...This team is a joke, season is over, no need for him to continue punishing his body.

I for one am excited to see what Spiller can do. Not a guy you want at the goal line, but he's running very well everywhere else, evidenced by his 5.5 average.

And that is not at all because I had him stashed on my FF team.

Good. Now it's offical, I can enjoy the rest of my weekends in 2011. This team will not win another game. Or ever be good again, or be in Buffalo much longer. Thanks for the Patriots game, the Bills farewell gift to Buffalo.

Lots of fans around here are also a joke. We ALL knew what this season was going to be like. We won a few games and everyone seemed to forget how un talented the roster actually is. Also everyone knew we had no depth we all knew it in preseason. The second the injuries started piling up is the second we started losing.

One last thing for all the people that said Jackson is not your average 30 year old back and had no wear and tear what is your argument going to be now? I say let him play out his contract next year and then decide from there. This is evidence of just how fragile the running back position is. These guys get banged up every play no matter their age. To commit money to them because they stick through everything is just not smart. Jackson was being underpaid based on this season so far but to commit years and money to him like you would a forte is just crazy in my mine

Also I am very happy to see what cj can do. I for one think he will be a great back still. I think he is going to be dynamic and a big play maker.

Not happy to see fred get hurt though he has played great

we'd be in the suck for luck race if freddie wasnt on this team

last few weeks of the year are gonna be brutal

The only way this would have been better is if they extended his contract just before the Miami game. They have been bad for 3 weeks on offense with him.......get ready for the 1985 Bills without him.

It's tough being a Bills fan.

Well we will find out what Spiller has at least.

Somehow the front office now gets to see what CJ is before they decide how much money they toss Freddy's way beased on verbal commitment between Freddy and Buddy.

Abrupt End to Jackson's Season (http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Jackson-to-I-R-Bills-claim-RB-Choice/d90e8be6-4a46-401c-9f1b-ed2b728c50a9)

Further tests on Fred Jackson's injured leg showed that he had a broken bone in his leg and the team was forced to make the difficult decision to place him on Injured Reserve. didn't Travis Henry play with the same injury in 2003??? And I also see FJ tweeted that he looks forward to "finishing" his career in Buffalo..........that's the kiss of death. He wants out.

injuries are the scapegoat.

Season is over. We didn't have the depth to sustain us through a 16 game season. It was a fun ride!

Right on.

People should also look at Fitzpatrick's turnover numbers in every game since Week 2.

if you would have told me back when the bills were unbeaten and miami was winless, that miami would blow out buffalo, i'd have thought you were crazy, this season has been very weird, and through it all, one constant, the Green Bay Packers
