Clearly they weren't on the same page, Fitz thought he was throwing to an NFL receiver.

I was literally pulling my hair out after the drop. Definition of Bills football.

Is there another word for when something slips out of your hands and hits the ground? I always thought that was the definition of "drop." Man, I've been using that word wrong my entire life. Good thing Stevie has Twitter to set me straight.

Whenever I drop something from now on I'm just going to get mad at whoever I'm with for not being on the same wavelength as me. It's never my fault.

This guy hasn't learned a thing and could be the biggest dummy on the face of the earth. That would be like Bill Buckner claiming Mookie Wilson hit a screaming line drive over his head in Game 6.

That's about on the same level as Suh saying he was just trying to keep his balance.

The one in the endzone was miscommunication. The one before it in the open field was a drop.

That's the problem with the tweet. There were 2 times where Johnson had the game in his hands; one was a drop and one he could have caught but didn't.

Either way, I was thinking to myself: how many times is Fitzpatrick going to have to throw the game winner to actually get someone to catch it?

I'll never know. More than two, apparently.

He probably thinks we mean the Pass in the endzone brainiacs.

The one he clearly dropped he probably would have been tackled on the 10 or so as guys had an angle on him

Probably, but I like our chances from the 10 than the 30 or wherever we were at the time.

I don't see it posted here, but it may be in another thread... Calvin Johnson catches all three balls thrown at Stevie at the end of that game. So does Fitzgerald, probably AJ Green, and a handful of receivers that I am too tired to dig up and run through.

You can piss and moan about this position and that position, but if we had real NFL receivers on this team, we win that game. That is harsh...SJ is a really good receiver, however, I don't want the ball thrown to him with the game on the line. I would have to think that Fitz shares that sentiment, but who the **** else are you going to throw to?? The 3rd string wildcat kick returning QB?

When when that is your #2, your options are limited. I guess you could throw at Ruvell Martin, but he has ****ed up every ball thrown to him. I guess that it would have been nice to see Nelson get the chance, but his role is not that of an outside WR.

People keep piling on Fitz, which is their thing, but I don't think he is even close to the issue, and I would go so far to say that half of his **** performances this year are due to the fact that half of his looks are useless.

It was fun while it lasted, and it is still encouraging for the future. It just hurts right now. We in year two of a real rebuild, and we all want a decade plus of a **** storm to stop.

I will say they are ****ing nuts if they pay Stevie top 10 WR money.

Wake the **** up people. He is talking about the pass after the drop.

You never fail to impress. Your case is always stated so eloquently and persuasively.

I'll give it a try.

I don't give a flying **** if he is talking about the the bomb he dropped, the one hand catch out of bounds, the flu, or any other ****ing thing he could have/should have caught all day, or all ****ing season long... the whole league is laughing at the one in the video, because this cocky **** did a little dance making fun of a receiver who made the big catch when he had to, then dropped the balls to win the game.

I am sure you are going sing your tired ****ing Fitz sucks drum, but the truth is he should have caught both of those ****ing passes. Fitz was sitting in the pocket and needed to throw the ball on the ****ing play after this...Stevie should have been looking right out of his cut, but he wasn't, and he muffed the play. ****, ****ity, ****, ****, ****.

He got his little dance in, and if that is funny to you, which I am sure it was, that is fine, but that doesn't add character to a young team, or show brashness...you look like a ****ing dolt when when you follow that up by failing to do your job.

I'm not going to say that the end zone pass wasn't behind him, but he got his hands on it. I wouldn't call it a drop, but it's hyperbole to say he had "no chance to catch it."

In fact, I'd say that if it's true that Johnson had "no chance to catch" a ball that hit his hands while he was in open space, he might want to think about finding work that doesn't involve catching footballs.

Not to try and cover my ass here, but this was the play I was thinking he meant. The one in the Endzone where Fitz didn't lead him and it was thrown behind him.

That was pure miscommunication.

Stevie over the middle was a drop.

Forgive me.

SJ has too much " entertainer " in him. Pro wrestling is calling.

Obviously has talent.. but it's one thing to catch an 8 yard slant 8 minutes into the 2nd quarter and drop a perfect pass wide open in the last minute of a game that could decide the outcome. He doesn't concentrate and may have been thinking about his next celebration for the " fans ".

I wouldn't make him any large offer this off-season. He obviously doesn't learn his lessons, although he " tweets " to the contrary.

Let's find someone more dedicated, focused & professional.

Well Hurkey is 100% correct.

People are being absolute fools getting riled up because they are talking about the wrong thing and that is annoying.

Johnson should have caught the first one and his penalty cost us as well. We should be upset about that but this thread is idiotic because it isn't even talking about the right thing.
