    Fitz

Is Fitz going to get any blame for missing a wide open Stevie in the end zone? He threw it high and wide over the wrong shoulder on 2nd down. I'm not talking about the last play of the game. I didn't get to see a replay of the very last play of the game but Fitz might have missed that throw also.

I think Fitz played very well, he worked the pocket like Paul Reubens at a porno flick.

I dont think any of the blame falls on him in this one.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

So missing a wide open Stevie in the end zone doesn't count?

        Re: Fitz

He was running for his life during that play. It's not like he was standing in the pocket and missed. I don't think he deserves any blame at all. He was running one way and throwing back across. Not much you can do there. I don't think anyone is to blame on that play.

An NFL QB should make that play. That is why is making 10 million a year. Sanchez hit his WR on the run for a TD.

It's totally different. Sanchez and his WR were running the same direction. Stevie and Fitz were running in opposite directions. There aren't a lot of NFL QBs who could make that throw.

He should have made the throw. He's far from the only one deserving of some blame. The bills beat themselves with little things. Coaching, dumb mistakes, dropped passes.

Sanchez also threw INTs yesterday. FEW QBs make a great play every play of the game.

So we shouldn't expect Fitz to make a great play EVER? Got it! Should have told me that before he was signed.

Fitz played WELL yesterday. To expect him to make EVERY play is to expect play like Brady, Manning, Rogers & Brees. It would have meant he would have cost DOUBLE what he did to sign if he could play like that.

Fitz played well. With that being said, his deep balls still needs a lot of improvement . Anything over 20 yards and I'm worried.

Stevie played great yesterday also but he is getting torched for 1 dropped ball. He isn't the only reason this team lost.

Fitz did ok with what he had. Can't complain too much when he doesn't turn it over, especially against that defense on the road. But his biggest play was him getting bailed out by Brad Smith, and I was pretty disappointed in that 3-and-out near the end of the half.

Fitz always makes some errant throws.

What's maddening is when he throws several perfect passes to his receivers at critical times, they drop them and that just magnifies his earlier misses.
