Well, it could be over, but players have had back surgery & have come back to play well. Mike Alstott had surgery to fuse vertebrae in his neck & played a number of years after that.

I obviously don't know the details of the injury or the surgery, but on the radio this AM Troup indicated that the surgery was so minor he could be back working out in three days.

Man I had high hopes for this guy coming into the year. He was supposedly working hard in the offseason and doing well early in camp. Hopefully his back issue is something that can heal but at this point I would bet he will not make a significant contribution. Disappointing!

That article doesn't say anything about his career being in jeopardy. Where are you getting that information?
