He's looked extremely sharp, Sabres are looking good in their own zone tonight as well. Forwards are getting back and not leaving anyone alone in front.

Passing has been sloppy (like usual), but it's been a solid game.

Kassian is responsible for both goals tonight (didn't get assist on Adam's, but he set up the play in the NSH zone)

I was very pleased with the Sabres game play tonight - seemed like having Ryan back motivated them. Lots of fights/scrums that showed they wouldn't be pushed around. Good stuff.

Predators dominated everywhere, except on the scoreboard. They had more shots on goal, twice as many takeaways, and won 13 more faceoffs than the Sabres.

The only reason the Sabres won this game..... Ryan Miller played out of his mind in his first game back. On a good night, Miller is better than Enroth, and Miller had a good night.

Again, this harkens back to issues the Sabres have suffered for years. They seem to build teams that depend on the goalie, rather than the offense, to win games. Should be more balanced that that.

Is it fair to say that Lindy Ruff historically coaches soft, and builds a soft team that isn't aggressive and depends on having the best goalie?
