how about our organization develop a player and turn him into a #1. I'm sick of hearing people talking about every single one of our players and saying, they aren't a #1. BS. very few players start out hall of famers. It's our @#$%#@$% organization that sucks, and that's why so many potentially very good players over the past decade have sucked. I just checked, Stevie's 2010 and 2011 stats are way outpacing Andre Reeds first 2 years here, in receptions/tds/yds. We're ******ed if we don't re-sign him, or let him go somewhere else for more $. our organization is a revolving door of suck.

Re: In regards to Stevie not being a #1
Steve is not a #1. He will be the #2 receiver once the Bills draft Michael Floyd. #1 receiver can take over entire games. I have never seen Johnson do that.Last edited by BertSquirtgum; 12-05-2011, 12:49 AM.

Re: In regards to Stevie not being a #1
I think he eventually walks, and it won't be the team's fault.
He and his agent are going to want a huge payday, and Stevie's going to want more limelight on a winning team.YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: In regards to Stevie not being a #1
its not his stats that make him a number one.
its his play and his persona that do it.
he is a playmaker at times and can score and catch (when it doesnt count)
but we need a big guy that can either run fast or have exceptional posession skills.
he is a no 2 wr. and a very good one. but we need a guy with one of those two things.
size of the player plays a big part in that also.
look at most of the no1 good wr's in the league. fitzgerald, andre j, megatron, greg jennings, roddy white, plaxico, brandon marshall, etc.
there all big guys who either are really fast or have great posession abilities including great verticles....etc.a decent qb can win a fluke super bowl. but a franchise qb makes a perennial powerhouse.
