Hey just curious if anyone else went and their thoughts?

I've been to many many Sabres games but last night's game must have had the tamest, quietest, and most apathetic crowd I've ever seen at the arena. I know the fans are down on the team a little right now and Florida's boring trap-style of play didn't help but what the heck is going on???

A close game against a quality team on a Friday night... where is the energy in the stands????

I feel like everyones negativity on the Bills is unfairly trickling down onto our Sabres. Look, we are right in the middle of the playoff pack and while we haven't hit our stride yet we are hanging tight in the standing despite a ton of injuries, suspensions, etc. Plus it looks like we have a GREAT core of young talent to look forward to come up over the next few years.

So I'm not down on this team at all. I'm actually more excited than ever... if we can hang around in the standings despite everything thats going on just imagine what happens when the team has had time to click and get healthy. Its a marathon, not a sprint. The only thing that matters is playing at the top level when it counts in April.

it was boring hockey, both teams played the trap last night and there's nothing much more exciting to watch than when a team plays the trap! :rolleyes:

You know what I was glad that the Panthers are joining the Sabres Conference next season in (realignment) but now I'm not quite shure about it! 6 times we are going to see the Panthers and Lightning 6 times! next season and their stupid trap! Maybe it would've been better if the Red Wings or the Blue Jackets were with the Sabres conference instead of the Panthers and Lightning.

I was there in the front row section and we were yelling alot. All goals were scored in our corner.

if i had tickets for that game, i would have gone to the ticket office and demanded a refund.... that had to be the slowest, most boring hockey game ever played. i know when you buy a ticket you cant expect an outcome of the game, but you should be able to expect to be entertained, not bored to death. Neither team help up their ends of the bargain to put a quality product on the ice that night

E2 = A1 x E1

A1= Audience Attendence
E1= Energy Output On Ice
E2= Energy in the Stands

Or basically
Energy in the Stands = Energy Output on the Ice x Attendence in the stands..

So... If the players dont output any energy and show any effort.. they get the silent treatment.

arena has been quiet all year, anyone attributing it to a boring game is just making excuses.
