The 49ers' management team has experienced its share of missteps. But, as owner Denise DeBartolo York concludes, the problems are easily forgotten when the team is winning. "Fans are interesting," she said. "They're fickle. Putting a winning team on the field is the magic potion to whatever else is going on."
