All of Terry Pegula's money hasn't been able to keep the Sabres either healthy or competitive, as they've gone 1-4-1 in their past six. Lots of time remains for Sabres in the mediocre East, but time isn't their problem: Leadership and productivity are.

Crisp passing, good 'catching', putting the puck at the net, nice movement in the offensive zone, winning the small battles in the corners, 2 pp goals and no shorties (yet), getting bodies to the front of the net...

WGRZ news at 5 tonight played part of Lindy's pregame press conference.

"With the Bills season almost over (one game left) it's up to us to start playing better, all eyes will be on us again. It's time to start a nice putting together a nice winning streak here".
