Beware the power of THE SLUG

I wanted to wear Sabres gear today to annoy all the local Caps fans.

But, we had to take our cat to the vet, and I didn't want my good stuff to get covered in cat hair. So, I wore my Slug jersey over an old Slug t-shirt. I haven't worn either one in over a year.

Well, the Sabres whooped the Caps. Maybe the Slug is good luck after all....

unfortunately, yes. That's my only sports superstition- For the Irish, Bills and Sabres, I wear the same shirt/jersey without changing it up until they lose.
