All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Even if he's active, he probably won't play, but it guarantees he will not be a free agent at the end of the season, which he would have been if they didn't add him to the 53 man roster.
Interesting that he's being brought in as an OL. I know they were working in that direction, but he must be doing reasonably well.
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"
I'd give him a chance and let him play. What better way to gain experience. Not sure if he can play RG, but at the very least, sit Pears (why risk injury w/him) and let's see if Jasper can hold the fort down.
The game is meaningless otherwise. Give the rookies and 2nd/3rd string depth a chance to gain experience - yes, I know that for the most part they have been playing. But give them the entire game instead of several plays here and there...
I'd rather see Jasper learning the defensive side of the ball.
I think it depends on his personality. Does anyone know, do NFL teams have psychological tests to determine which side of the ball players would be better at?

The luck our O-line has had he will be in there at center by the end of the first quarter.

They have psychological tests but I'm not sure how or if they determine if you're a better fit on O or D. May be a bit late in the game to be determining that.

If I had to guess, 330ish. It's been 8 months since the draft and he was around 380 then, dropping 50 pounds in that time wouldn't be too hard with how much he works out with the team and how closely his diet is watched.

The only good thing about all of our injuries is that we get to audition a whole lot of players during the season. New guys are constantly added to the PS, and many of them end up on the active roster.
I'd love to know the total number of players that have been under contract during the regular season. It must be a bunch.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
