Is it to late to call for a Championship?

Even if he's active, he probably won't play, but it guarantees he will not be a free agent at the end of the season, which he would have been if they didn't add him to the 53 man roster.

Interesting that he's being brought in as an OL. I know they were working in that direction, but he must be doing reasonably well.

I'd give him a chance and let him play. What better way to gain experience. Not sure if he can play RG, but at the very least, sit Pears (why risk injury w/him) and let's see if Jasper can hold the fort down.

The game is meaningless otherwise. Give the rookies and 2nd/3rd string depth a chance to gain experience - yes, I know that for the most part they have been playing. But give them the entire game instead of several plays here and there...

I'd rather see Jasper learning the defensive side of the ball.

I think it depends on his personality. Does anyone know, do NFL teams have psychological tests to determine which side of the ball players would be better at?

I for one would love to see the big man play...I mean, what is there to lose? Throw him out there. We already know what Rinehart can do.

I bet the room service bill in Boston will go up by $1000.

The luck our O-line has had he will be in there at center by the end of the first quarter.

Joe B from WGR says that jasper has been practicing at guard all season.

They have psychological tests but I'm not sure how or if they determine if you're a better fit on O or D. May be a bit late in the game to be determining that.

If I had to guess, 330ish. It's been 8 months since the draft and he was around 380 then, dropping 50 pounds in that time wouldn't be too hard with how much he works out with the team and how closely his diet is watched.

The only good thing about all of our injuries is that we get to audition a whole lot of players during the season. New guys are constantly added to the PS, and many of them end up on the active roster.

I'd love to know the total number of players that have been under contract during the regular season. It must be a bunch.

If they do test for that, I'm sure it was done when he was signed.

I doubt it. I bet it's closer to 350. If he were down to 330, they probably would have pulled him off the PS a long time ago.

I know what it is.

"Do you know what position you play?"

"Yes." --> "Play it."

"No." --> "When you figure it out, then try out next year. Until then, enjoy bagging groceries."

That is not it at all. Some people are more aggressive than others. I think a person with a very aggressive personality is better suited to play defense.

Well, that's the way it works in the "real world," anyway. On-the-job training is no longer an option most places, and you'd think in a society as elite as the NFL, the same would apply.

Maybe thats been the problem all along. All of our aggresive lineman are on defense and we have a bunch of pussy cats and teddy bears on the offense.

Give me a big nasty tackle/guard combo to run behind and the game takes on a whole new meaning anyday.
