missed the first two periods, but damn, these guys are boring tonight. I know part of it is the NJ trap, but they don't even seem like they are going to get 1 goal, let alone the 2 they need to tie. They aren't threatening at all.

And, every time they do get some minimal pressure, it results in a breakaway the other way. They'll be lucky if this one doesn't end up 5-1.

miller needs to stay in the net... too many times recently has he ventured out past the crease, given up a rebound, and is too far out of position to make the second save.

don't give me that blah blah cut down the angle **** either because he is out of position farrrr to often and many goals wouldnt have occured if he just stayed between the pipes.

so he either needs to stop giving up so many rebounds or change his style asap.

For some reason, this game wasn't available on the Rochester TW system. The channel guide menu SAID it was on. And 1044 showed the usual screen "Tune to 1092 for the Sabres game in HD"

But it wasn't on - I DVR'd 2 1/2 hours of Time Warner commercials. What the hell was up with that?

All I saw were the highlights on the NHL network - and the analysts said the Sabres looked TERRIBLE - Devils left uncovered by Sabres players, half-hearted offensive drives that were easily broken up. The commentator said it DID NOT LOOK LIKE A LINDY RUFF COACHED TEAM on the ice.

What the hell is going on in the Sabres locker room? The Sabres have slipped to 23rd in the league in points. This is a team in serious trouble and the season isn't even half-over yet. A couple more losses in regulation and they could be down to 25 or 26 place.
