We suck

You can chalk it up to the injuries, sure. But that's not the entire problem. We need guys who will be able to step in and fill the roles they are asked to fill.

There is NO urgency from anybody on this team except for a select few like Regehr and Vanek. This team makes it look like playing hockey for a career is such a chore. Floating around the ice, not finishing checks, poor passing and failure to convert scoring chances are making this team more and more unbearable to watch.

These guys seem to be comfortable with where they are by not playing up to their abilities. This team could be a serious force to be feared if everyone was playing how they are expected to play but no one is showing up.

Watching our guys skate out there makes them look incompetent and bored. Switch to any other team's game and they make us look like we skate in slow motion.

Something needs to be done here. Maybe Terry was right after all, apparently winning ISN'T a goal but merely a belief.

Maybe the Sabres marketing team needs to create some new slogans / ideas to represent the fans / let Pegula know we want changes now , I'll lend some ideas:

1.) Fear Regehr('s play)

2.) Lindy's like Cindy (picture of Cindy Brady next to Lindy)

3.) Sabres: remodeling doesn't make a better house. Picture of the new dressing room in the background.

4.) I work for the Sabres but not on the ice.

5.) It's Miller Time and have the confused picture of Miller after he got checked by Lucic.

6.) Have a pair of swords decapitating the Buffalo on the logo with its own blood being spilled.

7.) Get the 2 dwarf Sabres players' into wizard of Oz / Lollipop kids wear, be sure to slick their hair back as well with the proper colors.

Buffalo is only 8th from the bottom of the league standings. They can't count on a New Years miracle comeback like they had last year when Roy was out on the injured list. The odds are they won't finish the season strong and they will not make the playoffs.

Regehr,Vanek & Jason Pom have done their part.

The rest are out there floating most nights, refusing to work the corners, back check or go to the net.

Teams still correctly view us as soft, with the Miller incident cementing that image.

Now comes the crush of injuries and half of Rochester up trying to fill out a weak roster.

Playoffs look like a wet dream right now but this Owner and his right hand man Ted Black will at least do something about it before this trade deadline and the next off-season...unlike our football team.

If that includes a new coach and GM, so be it. Still, it's hard watching this team right now.
