I'm still happy with Aaron Williams but the next pick was Dalton. :(

Unless Dalton is a 1 year wonder it was an egregious mistake for the Bills to take a potential starting CB over a potential starting QB. If they took Dalton, they could have waited out Fitzpatrick & not have given him the stupid contract they gave him. Until the Bills management realizes that the QB is the most important player on the field, and after QB the team must be built on the lines, they'll keep using high picks on CBs & RBs instead of the key positions they should be drafting. The only reason they didn't screw up the 1st round last year was because they were drafting high enough that a blue chip defensive lineman fell into their laps. when Dalton fell into their laps in the 2nd round, they took a CB instead.

Wisconsin could have used that play in the Rose Bowl last year.

For how long? Fitz is a 29 year old veteran journeyman whose best season equates statistically to Dalton's rookie year campaign.

And Dalton is playing in the playoffs.

Dalton quietly had a very impressive year for a rookie QB. He's going to be a good one. JMO

I like Dalton. That pick 6 tho was one of the best plays i've seen in a while, and wasn't Dalton's fault as it was just a great play

Sanchez neither has red hair or the moxie of Dalton.

Sanchez was just as good as Fitz this year, and his team had a running game that was way worse than Buffalo's, he plays in New York, and is on a team if divas with a crazy coach. He is a way better QB than Fitz.

The Jets would've been in the playoffs with Fitz as their QB.

Wow, you mean league leader in INTs that only did well because of Fred Jackson? Like I said, Jets had zero run game.

Hilarious, people just don't pay attention, Jets let up 23 a game and Bills 27, Jets defense was not good at all, and the Jets were 9 places below Buffalo in rushing and 9th worse rushing in the NFL.

Last year, even without Andrew Luck, looks like it was so deep with quarterbacks that Buffalo is going to kick themselves for ignoring the position. I mean, take a look at all the rookies that started games this year: Newton, Ponder, Gabbert, Dalton; Locker also saw action. Heck, if Mallett weren't sitting behind Tom Brady I wouldn't be surprised if he had been a starter on another team. Yet Buffalo has a career backup as its starter (Fitz), a career third-stringer as its backup (Thigpen), and a career wide receiver and obsolete kick returner (Smith) as its third-stringer... and decided to draft a bunch of defensive players that managed to make a bad defense even worse. And now, thanks to Barkley and Jones saying no thanks, there isn't going to be nearly the depth at that position in the draft this year. Are the lights still on in the front office?

How many games did we lose by less then 4?

Would love to have Dalton waiting in the wings, but man his game went south as south as this thread went up. Total jinx.

He's a smart guy and pretty good with the short range stuff. Like Fitz, his long ball is all over the place. Somewhat limited.

Dalton had a really good season for a rookie thrown into the fire, especially considering early on Cincinnati was expected to be one of the worst teams in the league.

What he can do long term remains to be seen.

I still wouldn't make the trade-off for Williams.. Build the o-line and defense first and get a QB when you can.

Dalton may be considered for ROY, but he's now sitting at home and TJ freakin' Yates is preparing for the next round of the playoffs.

Why? Defense.
