Bills WR Coach Hixon to Penn State

It was announced earlier this afternoon that Bill O’Brien has hired Stan Hixon as the new WR coach. Stan has spent the last two years in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills where he helped Stevie Johnson and David Nelson emerge as weapons each of the last two years. Before that, he spent 6 years with the Washington Redskins, but was not retained when Mike Shanahan took over. Possibly the most important part of his resume were his four years with LSU, where he was not only part of the 2003 National Champion coaching staff, but he also developed Josh Reed into an All-American WR and Biletnikoff Award winning WR.
So, we're down a linebackers coach (due to Wannstedt's promotion) a QB Coach and a WR Coach... Gonna be interesting to see who the Bills bring in to fill the vacancies.

For a 6-10 team, our coaches are sure in high demand.
