he is not an NFL QB, plain and simple. He needs to channel his talent and either be a TE or a RB. There is no disgrace in switching positions (e.g., George Wilson) and applying your talents and contributing to the team - and earning respect in the process. The guy, as a QB, isn't even as good as Flutie. The guy, as a pseudo-QB, is 10x worse than Flutie. He'll be a footnote if he doesn't change positions, imo.

Looks like Elway is not taking Eb's advice!

The debate over Tim Tebow's worthiness as an NFL quarterback will undeniably continue in the offseason. What's not in doubt is his status as the Denver Broncos' starter.

"Well, I think Tim's earned the right to be the starting quarterback going into training camp next year," Broncos boss John Elway declared at the beginning of a 40-minute news conference in which 24 of the 47 questions were about Tebow.

Good to see we're not the only ones hell-bent on throwing our season away 8 1/2 months before it starts.

If making the playoffs and getting into the second round constitutes "throwing our season away," I'll take it.

He's number #1 on the depth chart entering camp. That's all that means.

Chances he's #1 exiting camp ? 50-1

Of course Elway is going to say or name him the starter for next season. It doesn't mean he is a good QB or that Elway even thinks that. Who else do they really have to put in his place right now? It would be kind of hard to yank him now after all of the hysteria surrounding him.

He is one of the most popular players in the NFL at the moment and they would get ridiculed if they didn't at least give him another shot next year. They will let him crash and burn next year until the Tebowmania wears off and everyone, including Patti, realizes that he is a horrible QB.
