Colts fire OL coach Pete Metzelaars, WR coach Frank Reich

Colts general manager Ryan Grigson said during the announcement of Caldwell’s firing that he wanted to sit down and speak in person with each of the assistants.

That didn’t happen with Metzelaars, who was out of town, as are most of the assistant coaches.

Metzellars was with the Colts for eight seasons, the past two as offensive line coach. Reich was with the Colts for four years, as quarterbacks coach in 2009-10 and as receivers coach last season.
Last I knew, we still have a vacancy at the WR coach...

Hell I would. In the time they were there, Indy has been 1000000000x the organization Buffalo has. Yeah, they're just positional coaches, but working towards winning happens on every level.

Just what we need, another team's castoffs.

The only reason the Colts have been such a great organization is Peyton Manning. That's it.

You don't have to play the position to be knowledgeable about it. I imagine as a QB, and a fairly smart one at that, he would have to have a pretty solid understanding of the wide receiver position.

I had no idea that our Metzelaars and Reich worked for the Colts.

                  Neither did I.

sidenote: Last year, Colts' HC Caldwell hired his buddy, the de-frocked OSU HC Tressel to be a "replay consultant". Like he needed the $$$...

Terrell Pryor who OAK picked in the supplemental draft was declared ineligible by the NFL for a number of games. Pryor complained, so Tressel got the same.

                  A replay consultant...nothing surprises anymore.

since Reich is publicly Christian, he should be the broncos' qb coach.

Good players, not so sure about their coaching ability.
