Bill Polian? Damn, didn't know he could be a former GM for Indy and now a former OC for Pittsburgh all at the same time. Yah for multitasking!

I like the idea, but we could really use QB Bill Belichick instead

Re: Bill Polian could be out as OC in Pittsburgh

This is the funniest thread I've read in a while. Thanks, BUFF Bills. Your gaff is what made it all possible. For the record, it's Bruce Arians as per the article. It doesn't actually make a lot of sense to bring him in. He's been working with Ben Roethlisberger for the last several years, and Roethlisberger likes a vertical passing game. Remember what happened this past season when Ryan Fitzpatrick tried to throw deep to Steve Johnson? The ball sailed ten yards over his head.

Besides, it will never happen. Chan Gailey is very much married to his pistol offense and is not going to pass control to a coordinator who operates from an entirely different philosophical perspective.

I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

This is why I live in fear of making a mistake on this board.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Same thing. Both guys' names have the same number of syllables.
