Easley at 100 percent, eager to show Bills what he can do

"It was definitely hard to deal with, especially after a promising preseason," Easley said from Orchard Park, N.Y, earlier this week. "A situation came up, it came out of nowhere."

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound former UConn star, who played his high school ball at Bunnell of Stratford, called the heart condition "personal" and declined to elaborate on it, but it was not only serious enough to keep him out of the opener, it also landed him on injured reserve for the second straight season.

"Football is not going to be something I do for the rest of my life -- it was a wake-up call for sure," said Easley, who was recently cleared to resume his football career. "Your health is just too important."

I'm sick of hearing about this guy. Is he ever going to appear on the field? I'm starting to think that maybe he doesn't exist and Nix pulled a Taro Tsujimoto on us.

I'm really interested in seeing if this guy is the real deal. He could be the big, fast receiver we've been looking for.

But given his history, I'm not counting on it, and will view it as a real bonus.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

100% by his standards means he'll still qualify for injured reserve the moment he returns to practice.

I'll wait until he's 150% to let him back on the field.

I rather see him healthy during the season than hearing he is all healthy in the off season. While I would love to see what he can do healthy I would also like to see what Merriman can do however I am not counting on either happening.

Well, a heart condition is NOT an injury. I can't wait for Easly to get out there & do his thing.

he will be a welcomed return during training camp.

However we still need to bring in a solid 1b WR to compliment Johnson when we resign him

If the Bills resign Stevie, bring in another solid WR, & Easley is healthy & plays like he did in preseason last year, WR could be the strongest position on the team, maybe one of the best groups in the league.

I still have no idea what kind of heart condition is "personal".

You really can't count a heart condition against the guy. It's not like his heart is injury prone.
