This comment is dead-nuts on target, and something I questioned at the time yesterday.

Harbaugh had a time out, he should've used it instead of rushing to get the kick off.

If that happened with the Bills, everybody would be calling for the HC's head.

Different circumstances, but maybe Harbaugh was thinking about Garrett icing his own kicker and felt like he might be doing the same thing if he called a TO.

I agree that he should have called it, just trying to speculate as to why he didn't.

Could be right, but the way Cundiff ran onto the field and set up he looked rushed.

You may recall... clock management was a big issue for Marv Levy when Wide Right happened, too. There is a precedent for this.

I am still wondering why you want to go to OT against the Pats in Foxboro. On that third down Flacco should have run for the first down and called their TO. Take another shot in the end zone against one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

IIRC, Thurman didn't run out of bounds and was tackled in the field of play, keeping the clock running. So it was mostly his fault.

And it was a comedy of errors to end that game. Flacco not running for the 1st. Evans not securing the ball. Rushing the FG. The Pats are easily the luckiest team to ever play. Hopefully the Giants end that luck.
